Gayari Sector and Recent Snow Sliding Incident - Updates

According to ISPR (Inter Services Public Relations) An operation on massive canvas is still beinng uder process for the 135 people including one lieutenant colonel, one major and one captain of Pakistan army who had been block due to recent snow-sliding in Gayari Sector of Siachin Glacier near Scardu, at this time rescue teams are expecting all 135 martyrs because of the position at said siachin sector. Rescue Teams are facing heavy snowing there, and air movement is almost impossible, Pakistan army requests all Muslims of the world that don't forget them in their prayers, this incident is itself a unique because Pakistan army camp is there since more than 20 years, and that point was quite safe geographically.

This place, Siachen is a highest place of war in the world yet and according to director ISPR they can not predict anything before the time, they are trying to safe the lives of troops, this snow sliding incident happened on the morning of Saturday at 5:45 AM PST, usually this type of incident has happened after a hot day, and in the evening. According to Athar Abbas, majority of effected troops belongs to Gilgit and Baltistan on residential basis and Northern Light Infantry, Pakistan Army is in the contact with families of effected troops through ISPR.

Pakistan army is taking and monitoring this incident seriously, rescue operation continuously going on with the heavy machinery which had been there from Rawal Pindi after just 1.5 hour of this incident. Prime Minister and President of Pakistan are deeply condole this sad demise and request the nation to pray for all of them effected from this incident.
