Governor's Murder, Aasia Bibi's Blasphemy and Mumtaz Qadri - 9th January Declaration

Blasphemy is the worst act in today's world. There are so many constitutions laws and orders against blasphemy in different countries. In America, there is no concept of blasphemy, if somebody does that against Jesus Christ or Hazrat Eesa (Alaih Salam), so the punishment is to hang him or her. In UK, there is the punishment of life sentence to death and imprison against this act.

We can feel the importance of blasphemy through different concepts and examples, in every nation there are the punishments which implements against blasphemy, even incidents are also important, you cannot say anything about holocaust, because it is painful for Judaism, they have punishment against this act they strongly condemn this act of challenging holocaust in the world.

So, it is crystal clear that, personalities, historical moments and religious values have too much importance, in other words we can say that this is also against individual freedom, because your freedom ends where others moral, religious and ethical boundaries start.

Blasphemy of Muhammad (PBUH) is not new at this time, before three years some European countries published blasphemous images of Muhammad (PBUH), after passing a year they published it again at bigger canvas, and in previous year at may 20^th, facebook take this issue at ground level, facebook published a page, in which they openly invited everyone to draw the images of Muhammad (PBUH), There were so many protest after every blasphemous activity, but western world ignore all these protest and anger, even they don't categorize it a crime, although having biggest laws and orders against it. Now if somebody from Muslim community comes and tries to kill the criminal, west start his propaganda against it and categories him terrorist, actually this negative approach of west is creating panic in the Muslim world. West is performing an action, Islamic world is reacting on it, they are not terrorist, actually western attitude is the cause of terrorism and disorders at the moment.

If we talk about recent incident of blasphemy in Pakistan and after that the murder of Salman Tasir, (Governor Punjab), It is clears that there is a clause present in Pakistan's Constitution 1973, according to that, "Nobody can make, revise or change any clause, law or act against every minor or major Islamic Religious Values".

But after the incident of Blasphemy from Christian woman, Aasia bibi, Governor Punjab was acting as a shelter for her,  this attitude was also against of Pakistani Constitution, now the question is who force him to provide Aasia the back support and shelter? Why he was acting against law and order, while he was the governor of one of the province of Pakistan, he knew the law himself very well, but why he was bypassing and crushing it?

Governor's action was negatively amazing, shocking and it created panic, not only in Pakistani Religious Circles but in all levels of peoples Pakistan, because according to Islamic history there are no any soft corner for the one who involves in blasphemy, there are so many examples also from Islamic history and law, which can previous statement.

According to 1986 act of blasphemy, created in the time of Mr. General Zia-ul-Haq, retired army chief, retired martial law administrator and retired president of Pakistan. This act is now the part of Constitution 73. The Punishment of Aasia Bibi is only the death sentence by hanging her as soon as possible without any soft corner.

A very important and amazing thing is the propaganda by western media against this law these days, according to them, Anti Blasphemy Act of 1986 is the source of killing and pressing Non-Muslims specially Christianity to wall.

But, do you want to know the reality? What are facts? Is that propaganda genuine? Try to understand it by following figures, taken from Media Records, from 1986, there are total 964 registered cases of blasphemy yet.

Muslims Cases – 479
Qadyani or Ahmadi Cases – 340
Christian Cases – 119
Hindu Cases – 14
Others – 12

Most amazing fact is, all criminals are alive in jails, some are free also, some dead due to natural death, no any single blasphemer or person is hanged from 1986.  This negative propaganda is quite fake and baseless by western media and anti Islamic elements.

If we look at Government's action after all that situation, Fozia Wahab, Secretary of Information of Pakistan Peoples Party is now getting ready once again for the sympathy of blasphemer Aasia, after the murder of Governor Punjab, she is categorizing her as daughter of nation, this term had been used for Dr. Aafia from Islamic fundamentalists', Fauzia Wahaab, enlightened moderate, was telling media here in Pakistan that time comes for the liberal and secular circles to raise voice for the soft image of Pakistan. Further, she added, if we remains silent against Islamic Fundamentalism, so no one will remain for the sympathy of secularism and liberalism and people will frightened, because they will no more be able to talk about that in coming future.

Before this, Shairi Rahman has also been present a bill against this law in national assembly, she is agreeing the fozia wahab's point of view, what are religious circles and peoples of Pakistan thinking and responding and how they are taking this issue, lets have a look.

Last Friday and also the last day of the passing year 2010, religious circles of Pakistan called a strike, against this act of Government of Pakistan, this was a shutter down and wheel jam Strike. This is on record that Karachi to Khaibar, all business and trade, public and private transport, everything was totally closed, feel the thinking of Pakistani Muslims as well as Minorities and influence of religious circles, everyone is against the act of Government of Pakistan.

And further, there is also the call of grand protest in Karachi from the Namoos-e-Risalat Panel. There are 11 Religious groups gathered in this panel, all are in anger and on campaign against government, even Tablighi Jamat, Dawat-e-Islami and Tanzeem-e-Islami are also in the ground, while they have different school of thoughts from each other and quite non-political background, but they are working with all other political religious groups like Jamiat Ulma Islam, Jamat-e-Islami, Sunni Tahreek and Millat-e-Jafaria very friendly.

One noticeable thing is the soft corner and brotherhood between religious parties of Pakistan after Pop's recent press conference in the sympathy of Aasia bibi and action of governor Punjab. They were working separately but now the position is quite change, incidents of blasphemy by west and recent incident of blasphemy by Aasi bibi and her back support by Government of Pakistan, these are the factors uniting all religious groups at one platform, this is not only happening inside Pakistan, this situation is same as with all Muslim world.

There is only one meaning of wake-up of Islamic Fundamentalists in Pakistan, the death of liberalism and secularism, because there is no meaning of moderate enlightenment to religious circles, they don't want to compromise on religious values and laws, Peoples of Pakistan badly believes in their Islamic ideology, this has proved in previous strike and will proof in coming Sunday's protest, 9^th January 2011.

The issues of this Protest is

1. To stop the Government for back supporting of blasphemy.
2. To stop the Government for Sheltering the moderate enlightenment because it is harmful for Islam and Pakistan.
3. To kill the liberal and secular ideology in Pakistan.
4. To defend the blasphemy act of 1986.
5. To hang Aasi bibi and all criminals of blasphemy.
6. Free Malik Mumtaz Hussain Qadri.
7. Stop US Influence from the Country.

At present Aasia bibi is imprisoned in Shaikhopora Jail, peoples are pressing and demanding government to hang her, Shaikhopora Session Court has also been ordered to hang her and she is too much frightened because everyone is expecting her murder in the jail by some police guards who are on duty, because Peoples of Pakistan are idealizing the action of Malik Mumtaz Hussain Qadri against Governor Punjab. No one can predict about the situation, environment is totally in the control of religious parties, at this time every nine persons from ten are agreeing Islamic ideology, lets see what will be the situation after coming protest.
