Pakistani Scientist Dr Afia Siddiqui Gets Pregnant
In a recent session, her sister Dr Dr Fouzia Siddiqui said she had come to know through Pakistani Consul General in Houston that Dr Afia Siddiqui had been diagnosed with a cancer. She added that earlier there were reports that the Pakistani scientist had become pregnant due to alleged sexual abuse during imprisonment. However, the Pakistan Embassy has not playing its role in either confirming or rejecting the reports.
She said that former Pakistan Ambassador to US Hussain Haqqani was called back the next day when he told us the condition of Dr Afia. She quoted Pakistan Consul General Aqil Nadeem as saying that he was requesting the jail authorities for providing medical facilities to the Pakistani scientist.
Dr Fouzia said keeping in view the reputation of the Roswell jail and the nature of her sister's disease the request was insufficient. She urged the Pakistan Embassy to arrange a team of physicians comprising doctors from jail as well as from private sector for Dr Afia Siddiqui.
Dr Fouzia said that newly-appointed Pakistan Ambassador to US Sherry Rehman had assured her all possible help before leaving for America to take up her new assignment. However, despite making contact with her, the envoy has not given any response in this regard. Speaking about the reports of Dr Afia's alleged pregnancy, she said that her family was told about it after the Pakistani scientist showed some symptoms in the women jail.
Dr Fouzia appealed to the US and Pakistani authorities to arrange a telephonic conversation of her mother with Dr Afia. Earlier, British journalist and human rights activist Yvonne Ridley had declared the long punishment of Dr Afia as just 'one step away from death'.
Talking about attitude of Pakistani politicians being adopted on the Dr Afia issue, she said that she would not believe in their statements until and unless her sister returns to Pakistan. Dr Fouzia complained that the politicians had only exploited the Dr Afia issue just to gain political mileage. She said that the Pakistani scientist had been provided substandard food, which led to health problems at the jail as she had complained of it during her earlier telephonic conversations.
According to Pakistani TV anchor Aamir Liaquat Hussain, he had received information from his friends in the US that Dr Afia had contracted cancer and will be killed during confinement. The renowned anchor said that the Pakistani scientist can be brought back through diplomatic efforts.
In a video uploaded on Youtube, Hussain said that Dr Afia had become pregnant as a result of sexual abuse in jail. We approached Pakistan Ambassador to US Sherry Rehman through an email to get her point of view on the issue but received no response till the filing of this news.

Syrian Forces Killed 100 More in Crack Down
Syrian Forces Killed 100 More in a Crack Down which is continuously going on since tomorrow, there seems no limit of the human blood in Syrian territory; government is just shedding to save their government. The saddest thing is the status of the Syria, which is an Islamic country. According to Islam, to save a human life is just like to save whole humanity, and to kill an innocent is just like to kill all.
But Bashar-al-Assad is not in the mood to understood this right of humanity, one very effective example is coming in my mind while writing these lines, A cat is very innocent and lovely animal, if you beat it by a rod, he will run, but try a different experiment, lets take a cat into a closed room, shut down all doors and windows, then beat him again, he will again run round and round in the room, when find nowhere to exit, he will attack back on you, even after there is no comparison with both your and his power. This is a factual phenomenon.
Newton explain this example in a very short line, he said in his 3rd law of motion that every action has an opposite reaction, may be Bashar-al-Assad do not know this reality, but he will know this soon, because everything should be in his limit, but Bashar-al-Assad is bypassing every limit, Where the hell is UNO damn! People are being killing day and night like animals but there is criminal silence every where, where is Arab league and his policies regarding the stability in the region?
If every one will remain silent, cat will attack back in the reaction, then no body would be able to stop it, Bashar-al-Asad should take some lesson from the revolutions of Tunisia, Libya and Egypt, he may be forgotten Muammar Qaddafi, the man of Libyan empire where he has bigger street power than Bashar-al Assad government has right not, even he had his own most stable and advanced force than compare to Libyan army, it means that he had an state in the state, but what happened? Cat killed him in the result of revolution, we and everybody has seen this in several videos of YouTube.
Bashar-Al-Assad government has to take these protests seriously, people don't want to see him, and this is the only fact, Bashar-al-Asad should be resign at once, protest is going on peak gradually despite so many threatens, illegal arrests and straight fires in the residential areas and crowds, If Bashar al Assad will not go back through the protests and ballets, then people will use the power of bullets, which has now been started.

MQM Altaf Workers Moving to MQM Haqiqi
MQM Altaf is really worried due to this continuation of the lack of popularity, because this could be down their street power in the city, and it is the fact that people of the city have now been fed up due to MQM Altaf's illagal activities, threatening, street crimes, weapon culture, collection of party fund (Protection money commonly known as Bhatta Wusooli), and most important target killing. MQM was also involved in torturing and killing their opponents in the torture cells. These are some facts, which are on media and police record.
If MQM Altaf want to be popular in the city, they have to come at ground level, they should be do some real welfare work, otherwise, MQM should not have to be forgot the name of NSF, the communists of Pakistan.
Attack on MQM Haqiqi Leader Shamshad Ghauri - MQM Altaf Involved
Yesterday when Mr. Shamshad Ghauri was going to Karachi Press Club with some party workers, MQM Altaf attacked in the front of Landhi KESC Office, terrorists had weapons, steel rods and many more, but the good point is the arrival of police and rangers on time, they arrested more than 10 MQM Altaf terrorists with weapons and mass destruction tools, according to locals, 13 MQM Haqiqi workers are badly injured, which has been admitted in hospital.
Government seems quite useless these days in the country, law and order enforcement is no where, back to back terrorist activities by MQM Altaf group is enough to destroy business and economic environment in the region, and the most important peace, which is quite disappeared with government writ. God bless Karachi and Pakistan.

Chinese Military Advancement in the Region
As the US shifts its focus to Asia, Alexander Neill, head of the Asia Security Programme at the Royal United Services Institute, sets out the Chinese military advances challenging the regional balance. At the Pentagon recently, US President Barack Obama announced deep cuts to the US military and set out a shift in attention towards the Asia-Pacific region, in a thinly-veiled message to China. Despite a narrative of peaceful intent, China's leaders have struggled to reassure the US over the direction of the People's Liberation Army (PLA). Both countries admit that their military dialogue falls well behind other aspects of the relationship.
So the shift has brought renewed scrutiny of the PLA's latest capabilities against US dominance in the Pacific. In recent years the PLA has demonstrated impressive new capabilities at sea and in space, aimed at showcasing the success of its modernisation effort.
The obvious message is to deliver a powerful warning if Taiwan were to declare formal independence. But Pentagon planners are now concerned that the Taiwan contingency has been eclipsed by China's broader maritime territorial claims and demands for more international space to protect the arteries feeding China's growth.
China is developing a range of capabilities linked to the space and cyber domain in order to sidestep the overwhelming might of the US military in the Pacific region. The PLA calls this fighting "local wars under informationised conditions". China recognised almost two decades ago that in the mid-term the PLA could be no match for US conventional forces. So it began working on what was dubbed "unrestricted warfare" - combining multiple methods to defeat a superior opponent. At the same time party leaders launched adventurous civilian acquisition projects in the high-tech domain to increase Chinese competitiveness and to boost indigenous production capabilities.
The PLA has been running military projects mirroring these civilian acquisition ventures. Sometimes involving dual-use technologies, the military and civilian strands have often been indistinguishable. China's space programme is a case in point. The recent successful docking manoeuvre between a Shenzhou module and the Tiangong Space station is as much a triumph for the PLA as it is for China's civilian space agency.
Space theatre
Should the US ever intervene in a cross-strait clash or challenge China's maritime claims, Beijing would employ a pre-emptive "sea denial" strategy alongside its conventional operations - preventing US battle carrier groups operating in or near its claimed territorial waters. Its submarine-launched ballistic and cruise missiles are now a lethal force. China's long-range nuclear weapons systems have also undergone significant upgrades and its strategic rocket force, the Second Artillery Corps, is very much the pride of the PLA.
One of the most pressing concerns for the US navy is the threat posed by a 'carrier killer' anti-ship missile with enhanced targeting capabilities facilitated from space. China very recently launched its own Beidou Positioning System, challenging the monopoly of the US Global Positioning System (GPS). One of the PLA's most sensitive advances has been the secret deployment and testing of advanced anti-satellite (ASAT) and Anti Ballistic Missile (ABM) weapons systems.
Two years ago, China successfully intercepted one of its own ballistic missiles as it streaked through space. This test coincided with the Pentagon's sale of Ballistic Missile Defence (BMD) Patriot systems to Taiwan. Some experts believe a Chinese ASAT campaign against a careful selected group of US satellites could have catastrophic effect on the US military.
This capability, combined with the potential for China to develop its own Ballistic Missile Defence umbrella, suggests that the space domain will be a new theatre for US-China rivalry. Chinese ASAT capabilities are not exclusively reserved for "kill vehicles", like the one which obliterated an ageing Chinese weather satellite in 2007.
It is now believed that the successful 2007 'kill' was in fact the third test in a series. Previous tests had demonstrated an ability to manoeuvre in proximity to targeted satellites. This would suggest that China has experimented with techniques which could be used for "space mining", where mines or mini-satellites armed with jamming technologies could be placed within the orbits of an opponent's spacecraft.
Carrier group
In addition to its "sea denial" and space warfare strategies, China is also expanding its conventional capabilities. The PLA Air Force in recent years has extended its ability for offshore operations, enhancing an offensive capability. It is planning an overhaul of its ageing fleet with the deployment of over 3,000 new aircraft. For the most part China has relied on copying Russian fighter technology. However, the roll-out of the Chengdu J-20 Stealth fighter prototype raised eyebrows last year, carefully timed to coincide with a visit by the US defence secretary.
There have been some very significant developments in the deployment of Chinese submarines in recent years. Beijing possesses 10 Russian-built ultra-quiet Kilo class submarines possibly armed with 200km-range anti-ship cruise missiles. Since 2006, when a Chinese submarine surfaced undetected within torpedo range of the US aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk, China's submarine force has regularly marauded the US Navy and its allies in the Pacific.
It is thought that China plans to build three aircraft carrier battle groups, each armed with 40 fighters, up to eight warships, three nuclear-powered attack submarines and a number of support vessels. The PLA Navy's retrofitted Varyag carrier, currently under sea-trials, will serve as a training platform. Even if the aircraft carrier would likely be a prestige piece and more directed at Chinese domestic pride, the prospect of a Chinese aircraft carrier will certainly cause ripples for the broader East Asian naval balance.
Uncertain factors
While much attention has been paid to the breakneck speed of Chinese military modernisation over the last decade, the events of 9/11 and the subsequent campaigns in the Middle East and Afghanistan provided a window of opportunity for China to accelerate development. In some cases there may have been, quite literally, windfalls for the PLA. There is speculation that China acquired undamaged Tomohawk cruise missile components in the early stages of the Afghanistan campaign a decade ago.
When US Special Forces failed to completely destroy one of their stealth helicopters during Operation Geronimo, Pakistan's military may have allowed PLA counterparts to inspect the tail rotor. The PLA must be congratulating itself on the impressive array of weaponry which has tilted the balance in the Taiwan Strait in its favour.
China's new-found capabilities combined with the opaque nature of its military modernisation create a formula for mistrust with the US. There are perhaps three factors for uncertainty. Firstly, the Chinese military's confidence in its new equipment could lead to an overestimation of its capability as an emerging great power.
Secondly, the Chinese leadership could underestimate its ability to control an unexpected escalation of hostilities in the Pacific. Finally, the domestic political factor - the PLA's external behaviour could become a reaction to internal nationalistic sentiment, instability or faction fighting as Beijing prepares for the fifth generation leadership handover this year.
On US Online Anti Piracy - Wikipedia is Protesting Amazingly
Wikipedia has taken its English-language site offline as part of protests against proposed anti-piracy laws in the US.
Users attempting to access the site see a black screen and a political statement: "Imagine a world without free knowledge." The user-generated news site Reddit and the blog Boing Boing are also taking part in the "blackout". However, Twitter has declined to join the shutdown.
Wikipedia is opposed to the US Stop Online Piracy Act (Sopa) and Protect Intellectual Property Act (Pipa) being debated by Congress. The site's founder, Jimmy Wales, told the BBC: "Proponents of Sopa have characterised the opposition as being people who want to enable piracy or defend piracy".
"But that's not really the point. The point is the bill is so over broad and so badly written that it's going to impact all kinds of things that, you know, don't have anything to do with stopping piracy." The message replacing the normal Wikipedia front page on the internet says: "For over a decade, we have spent millions of hours building the largest encyclopaedia in human history. Right now, the US Congress is considering legislation that could fatally damage the free and open internet. For 24 hours, to raise awareness, we are blacking out Wikipedia."

Anti Government Crowd Gathered by Jamaat Islami Pakistan
Jamaat-e-Islami Dharna for Missing Party Workers and Innocents
Jamaat-e-Islami Dharna for Missing People, Jamaat-e-Islami called this one month ago for the getting back and free from the jails, according to Jamaat-e-Islami, security agencies kidnapped more that 8 workers from their homes, working places and universities without any charge and this is also the fact that they have no any charge in any court, why agencies picking and putting Jamaat-e-Islami and their under working organizations' workers into the jails? Here is question mark, which should be cleared here; we'll discuss only one name which was also on the top of the index, which was provided by Jamaat-e-Islami leadership to the committee which will now investigate in the chairmanship of additional IG, about them. This name was also on the top of the main banner in yesterday's rally. I am publishing one photo of the front of that banner for the proof.
Maaz Farooqi
This is not only the name of a man, there is a leadership hidden behind him, Maaz Farooqi has a magnetic personality, he has the ability to gather people around him, this is also the main quality of a leader, and his soft speaking style and sacrificing nature are the main keys to gather more and more people around him, these are his massive tools by which he created a very strong Jamaat-e-Islami working circle in his residential area and the university where he was completing his masters, and this working circle is spiritually working yet.
And if we look in his educational career in the University of Karachi as i stated above, he was working with Islami Jamiat Talaba, he created strong working circles in every department of the UoK, Jamiat is still taking benefit from his work.
So the conclusion is, Maaz Farooqi was the leader of the future of Islamic Movement Jamaat-e-Islami, not only the leader, a publically and socially well known, educated, and the leader of vanguard.
Now! We have the answer of above question, anti Islamic elements who are existing in the Police, Forces, Security Agencies, and overall in the establishment of Pakistan doesn't want to see the leading Islamic movement, Jamaat-e-Islami in the form of growing up, flourished and established position. All names which are on the index which has now been provided to the investigating committee are Maaz Farooqi, they all are the best educationally, politically, Islamically and socially among their circles, they all are futuristic leaders, their fault is nothing but the love with Islam and Jamaat-e-Islami, they want to stable Islamic approach of Jamaat-e-Islami by their thinking and spirit.
We can feel the strategy of opponents of all Islamic movements not only Jamaat-e-Islami that they have futuristic goals by which they can make Islamic Movements a drum of waste, they want to kill every those who want to practice Islam in the region, They want to deprive the Islamic movements from quality leadership. Now this is the responsibility of the leaders of Islamic Movements that how they get rid of these problematic hurdles. This is the time to wake-up and lead the nation, who really needs a corruption free leadership, and Jamaat-e-Islami and Islamic movements are the only circles who can fulfill this requirement.
